Pre-Treatment Preparation

To ensure optimal results:

• Avoid Roaccutane/Accutane for 6 months prior
• Discontinue retinoids, exfoliants, acids and topical antibiotics for 5–7 days prior
• Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (e.g. ibuprofen) for 3 days prior
• No laser/IPL, excessive sun exposure or sunburn for 2 weeks prior
• Avoid waxing, depilatory creams or electrolysis for 5–7 days prior
• Shave the treatment area the day before (not on the day) if required
• If prone to cold sores, take antiviral medication 2 days prior and on the day
